Hello I have a Wilcox IS International Silver Co. 1392/22 tray.
I need help to find out how much the value of this is and maybe what year it was made. It is really heavy about 15-20 lbs. It has unique pattern on it as well. All I can find online is the year of 1880’s of when it was founded but I cannot find any information on this Hallmark number
The lack of a sterling mark implies that it’s electroplated. If so then it only has decorative or utility value and any plating damage will reduce even that small amount. The number is a pattern number and has nothing to do with a hallmark. Note that American silver is not hallmarked anyway as manufacturers are responsible for their own marking.
