I acquired this recently. Can someone help identify?
Your tea kettle is electroplate and made by the Barbour Silver Co of Hartford, CT. As it is electroplate it has no intrinsic value for silver content. I cannot see it being of any useful value in this modern age so it would only have decorative or collectible value. Although it appears in good condition from your pictures you need to be aware that any flaws in the plating can seriously devalue electroplated pieces. I suggest that you check Ebay’s electroplate “Sold” listings to see if you can find any kettles and burners. The amount that people are willing to pay is always a much better indication of value than so-called expert evaluations.
