I purchased a lot of items that were silver plated, but I have already found a sterling item and this box here, which I believe is silver. I have no way of testing it now, but from the hallmarks, I believe it is European silver, could you help me identify it, please?
It is Polish 800 standard silver. If you can make out the letter on the right of the oval mark it will tell you where in Poland it was assayed. See POLAND SILVER AND GOLD HALLMARKS for a guide to Polish marks.

Looks like a “K” to me, which would be Krakow.
