Stolen Silver Pocket watch hallmark ID please

Hi there
Can anyone please help? My friend has asked if I can find someone who can ID this hallmark on his deseased relations pocket watch. It belonged to an elderley relation who has since passed on. The watch has been stolen and he requires as much help as possible :slightly_frowning_face:

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Please post a picture of the hallmark. If it has been stolen and you don’t have a picture there’s not much we can do.

Hi Phil
I am sorry I cannot see where to go to post a jpg file on the website. I tried editing the post but still cannot see where :frowning:

Looks like it was made in 1886 by Jackson Brothers of Birmingham.

That does not look like a watch case and Jackson Brothers were not case makers.

Confusion perhaps. Looks like a partial rear view of a pocket watch fob not a pocket watch
