I think this is a silver plated cruet set. There’s 8 bottles. I’m wandering if anyone can give me any info on this. Like to know the history and value. On the back of it it has the letter J, below that is the letters EBW, then below that is the letter J again. On the front piece it has a picture of a queen, a lion, and the letter U.
The metal is sterling silver not electroplate. Your first picture and the base of the cruet stand show a London hallmark with the date letter u for 1875 and the maker’s/sponsor’s mark of Barnard & Sons Ltd.
A similar cruet stand with 7 bottles and a more ornate base sold on Ebay recently for £325.
