Silver Hallmarks CEK Monogram Striking Snake & SIL

Hi - I am trying to identify the hallmarks on a silver box I have - they are not English hallmarks and cannot find out which country these marks relate to. The first mark is a monogram of a large C or circle with a little E and then joined with perhaps a K? The second mark looks like a snake in a ‘striking’ position and then the letters SIL which I guess is for Silver. Any help would be appreciated.

“SIL” is often associated with Australian or New Zealand silver. That might be an avenue for you to explore.

Thanks for the update - I should have thought of India.
