Hello, I have this caviar dish - which I think might be silver plated but I can’t find any marks on it to say say. It is only stamped MADE IN ENGLAND on the base. I was wondering if it is likely silver plate and if so, how to clean it?

There is no requirement to mark electroplate as such, but silver will always be marked, so it is definitely safe to assume that it is electroplate. As electroplate comprises a base metal with a thin coating of pure silver the best way to clean it is with a good quality silver polish, just as you would clean solid silver.
