Sifting Spoon Makers Mark

The Basics... Identification Help - What is it?

Hi can anyone assist with this hallmark on a lovely sifting spoon, Sheffield EP I’m seeing the makers mark as TU or TV in Gothic Script but that’s not getting me very far. Anyone else assist? Many thanks.

EP is electroplate and the crown here does not necessarily signify Sheffield. The letter in the middle is a W, not a pair of letters, and there may have originally been another letter in the blank on the left. This would probably have aided identification but with just the W it is not going to be easy.

Thanks Phil - I did look at Gothic W marks but they seemed to have to have 4 ‘rungs’ not 3 which led me into thinking it was two letters, not one. I think you’re right
