Here are some photos of a pair of London 1845 serving spoons by Samuel Hayne and Dudley Cater in “Old English’ Kings Pattern variation, described by Ian Pickford on p130 of ‘Silver Flatware’ as 'very rare”.
Weight is 214 g and length 9". The condition is very good.
Can anyone give me an indication of how rare these spoons actually are? I can only find one example, a desert spoon by searching the internet. Any indication as to value would be much appreciated.
