Maker’s Mark on a large tray

I know this tray is old, but nothing else. Please help with identifying the mark. It’s 6.5 lb, 26x11 in

This mark has puzzled a lot of people and caused much debate; (see here for example). The manufacturer has now been positively identified as Crown Silver Company of Brookline, Mass. The company was in operation from about 1933 until 1950. Your tray is, of course, electroplated.
