Hello everyone!
Please kindly help me with this hallmark. It looks like Edinburgh Medlock & Craik but they produced only jewelries. I see that this is real art nuvo from early 20th. And the third sign is like “1” or like head of horse (i can’t read) and the dot in the end. On back side only two numbers - 90.
Thank you in advance!
This is not a hallmark, which would be present only on sterling silver. If there are any other marks, please grab a photo of them. If there aren’t any sterling hallmarks, it’s silver plate.
And BTW, it’s Art Nouveau, not “nuvo.”
Thank you for reply. Sure, it’s a silver plated. Not sterling silver absolutely. I meant the mark in general sense, sorry for mistake. The back side:
Only 90. I assume that is 90 microns perhaps
and jugendstil and modern and etc, you know) it’s ok))
Not only jewelries

It looks very Jugendstil. Meyen and Co.?
Excluded.

Yeah, I’m sure you’re right. It just doesn’t look Glascow style so I have a hard time thinking it’s Scottish Provincial. Just looks German or Mitteleuropa to me.
