Is this marking a hallmark, please? I wish to know if is solid silver. Thank you

You’re good, this piece is in Brazil. I’m not sure if it’s silver, because the feet are very yellow, so I’m not sure if it’s 800 silver or plated.

I turned the picture over and it looks like an ESP or ESR. Could it be Electro Silver Plated?

ESR, EST? ----____---- :face_with_monocle:

In your opinion, is it silver plated or solid silver?

If it were sterling silver, there would probably be a legible mark. As I said, I’m no expert. I feel more like a detective and a discoverer.
I wonder more and more often why our experts don’t speak up on such unclear issues… Of course it’s easier to guess what’s clear and more or less obvious. I choose challenges. So.

I live in Brazil and it is quite common to have silver items without markings, and there are many European markings that do not help much or are not even visible. I have seen 800 and 833 silver pieces several times that were completely yellow, which anyone would say was bronze, so I am not sure, but I have had great profits and surprises buying pieces online that I thought could be silver.

You know, bro, I am happy that I meet here both experts in this charming subject and enthusiasts of beautiful and aesthetic objects. In a world dominated by plastic and junk, the presence of the aforementioned gives hope that man is still a rational being, and our fragile and frail species is still evolving.
