Hi, I have a 21cm long fork with the marks shown, I’m not sure if it’s silver or how old - if anyone can help!

It’s silver plate, not sterling. The lettering is for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Not sure what the Maltese cross signifies.
ETA: First half of the 20th Century, roughly. It’s not possible to be more precise.
A1 means that company’s best quality elecroplate. It has no objective meaning as the company decides on plating thickness.
