Hi, I found this in a box and I thought it was a caddy spoon but my partner is convinced it’s a spoon with a broken handle? Can anyone help? Thank you.
The remaining bit is too small to hold. Your partner is correct.
It is electroplated and not solid silver. The manufacturer was William Howe & Co of Sheffield and it must date from before about 1895 as use of a crown on electroplate was outlawed at that time.
I have deleted your duplicate post in “Reading Silver Hallmarks” to keep all answers in one place.

Thank you so much, it is appreciated.
