I’ve spent an enormous amount of time but I’m just unable to identify the markings on this large spoon - any help appreciated
I can with near 100% confidence say that GS stands for “German Silver”. This is a base metal alloy, known since the First World War as nickel silver, which contains no silver whatsoever. I don’t recognise the manufacturer’s marks.
