Help with identification of maker

I have 2 lovely silver plate teapots but cannot find any info on the makers stamp? Any idea on who this could be? Thank you.

There is also a stamp of 88 which I understand to be russian zolotnik.

This falls into the “just a hunch” category, but that Etsy listing says that the objects were found in Sweden. Could the logo stand for the Swedish Metal Works Co Ltd? In Svensk, it’s svenska metallverk, so still SM.

I can’t find their logo online, but the coincidences are piling up.
