Help with hallmarks/date / Dutch Silver?

Found a couple of Dutch ashtrays. Was curious if they were in fact silver? Any help with the hallmarks would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan

Yes, they are silver, 833 standard, with the date letter R for 1927.
