Hi, ive a set if four forks. Two have same hallmarks by “JAYS” the other two have H&D and a flower and crown. Are these sterling silver?
They are not silver as there is no hallmark. Your image is not clear but I suspect that the shield mark contains the letters EP for electroplate or MP for either Magneto Plate or Majestic Plate, the latter being a trade name used by Jays.
