I received a box of assorted cutlery from a family friend and was given no information about the origin. I’m curious to know if these pieces have any interesting history. Appreciate any insight you can provide!
These appear to be pieces from different, unrelated sets, some monogrammed for their owners.
The only thing that can be said with some certainty is that the piece marked “800” is .800 purity silver (80% silver, the remaining 20% some other metal, probably a copper alloy). Sterling silver is .925 purity.
