I’m new to the forum and am thrilled to have found it. I have been acquiring a fair number of silver pieces from estate sales and have found a piece that puzzles me as to exactly what is is and the difference in Simpson, Hall and Miller marking.
It may be a vase, goblet OR?
The Mark is easy to read but is totally different from Simpson, Hall and Miller marks that I have been able to find. It is a straight line mark as follows:
SIMPSON.H.M.co
Below That are the characters A20
Finally, there appears to be the remnants of an X below that.
I am attaching photographs and hop someone can give me some information on this piece.
