New to the forum and would really appreciate your help with these hallmarks. Also the cutlery set has markings for QE with a crown between the Q and E. I will post photos later

I suspect that the mark in your last picture with the lettering may be a useful clue but your picture is too blurred to make out more than a couple of letters. Can you post an in-focus picture of the mark? I can say, in case you were thinking that the lion passant is an English sterling mark, that it is not, and its presence points to a possible attempt to deceive people into thinking silver rather than some other metal.
