I have a small silverplate pitcher/creamer that I’m hoping someone can give me a little information about. It has a mark with the Edinburgh castle in the middle and “EPNS” surrounding it. There are no marks of any kind to identify maker or date, unless the font style and castle style can date it. It’s about 6" tall. Thank you!
This appears to be the mark of Corbell & Co of Scottsdale, Arizona. Illustrated marks of this company normally include their initials “C&Co” and “EP”, so I can’t be 100% sure. However the shape of the mark, the castle image and the lettering style all tie up with this company.
Thank you very much. It’s funny, I was just “advising” someone on the Corbell & Co mark the other day - but it was the complete regular mark. It never occurred to me that this could be a Corbell mark! I appreciate your help!
