Hello… I’m hoping someone might be able to identify the simple Clover makers mark on this Art Nouveau styled vase? And any ideas on its age??
Any insights would be very much appreciated!

It’s EPNS - electroplated nickel silver. The A1 usually indicates that it’s the maker’s best quality plating, though I have to admit, I’ve never seen anything else, like “B6.” I suspect it’s mostly a marketing gimmick, since good silverplating can create a very durable finish that looks exactly like sterling, all with a miniscule amount of real silver. There’s just no reason to scrimp.
Can’t help with the clover leaf/trefoil mark. I can’t find anything like it online. Unusual to see it without something else, like a name or at least initials, particularly from this era. Given the design, I would say that it’s certainly no earlier than about 1900.
