Hello detectives! I am fascinated by this ring!
Too small to be a napkin ring, Beatrix Potter detailing. I can’t date it or find another similar. Do you think it could be modern? The width and style suggests early 1900’s to me, but I am just a novice admirer.
Anyone have any insights to share? I’d be most grateful.

I’m not convinced these are Beatrix Potter animals. They are naked (apart from fur & feathers!) and Potter’s animals are all clothed to some extent. And the house does not seem to be in the English style. “Sterling silver” suggests an American or colonial origin. I have no idea about date but the wear on the mark inside looks as if it is not all that modern.
