1847 Roger's Bro silverware

Recieved a 44 piece silverware set from my mom before she passed away. Don’t think it has any value and was planning on using it for everyday use unless I’m told it has value. 44 piece set marked 1847 Roger’s Bro, warrented

16DWT. Think she recieved it around 1962 as a wedding present.

I’m also curious why a magnetic sticks to knifes but not the forks and spoons.
